Masseria Casamassima is a fortified farmhouse dating back to 1858 rising in the valley of the lower Murgia hills near Ostuni, in the Upper Salento, halfway between the cities of Lecce and Bari.
Today it is a modern farmhouse in Ostuni and is the perfect location not only for Shabby Chic-styled weddings, but also for other event needs, thanks to the beauty and the versatility of its spaces. Masseria Casamassima also produces and sells an excellent extra virgin olive oil and vegetables.
The production of vegetables is only for its internal use. This farmhouse in Ostuni was built in the mid-90s after some restoration works were performed on the whole building.
Fortified farmhouse in Ostuni, Masseria Casamassima welcomes an underground oil mill dating back to the sixteenth century and imposing walls, witnesses of a long history, ancient flavours and traditions.
This is what makes Masseria Casamassima one of the most evocative farms in the area: numerous centuries-old olive trees can be found there and it is also a reference point for the production and the sale of an excellent olive oil.
